Both these areas offer short, interconnected trails, while the approximately 10-mile Sunset Trail provides a more challenging trek for experienced hikers. A majority of the trails are concentrated between the Hot Springs and North Mountain trails as well as the West Mountain Trails. Additionally, numerous trails weave throughout the park. The park's thermal waters are its primary draw, and visitors can still soak in the historical establishments lining Bathhouse Row, including the Fordyce Bathhouse Visitor Center and the Buckstaff Bathhouse. Given that Hot Springs National Park shares a name with the nearby town, it should come as no surprise that the 5,500-acre park serves as the main attraction in Hot Springs. Parking at the Hot Springs Mountain Tower is free, and a car is the only way to reach the tower, which sits about 2 miles from the downtown area of Hot Springs. Passes to the tower cost $8 for adults, $4.50 for children ages 5 to 11 and $7 for seniors ages 55 and older. The Hot Springs Mountain Tower welcomes visitors daily at 9 a.m. From the deck, you'll be treated to stunning views of Hot Springs National Park. Travelers even described the winding road leading to the tower as a beautiful drive.
